I get the impression the Half Cab Pros also have a thinner footbed and maybe a slightly pointer toe (just from looking at them). Has anyone tried the Half Cab Lites? They look like they would be quite good.

With the pros can't you take out the insole and then put in a different one etc? Also you can get syndicate half cabs, I got some on sale and they were great, I think syndicates are normally more expensive than the pro versions.
neil makes teeth
Yea same with most shoes now, I'm skating some TNT5s at the moment and to be fair they normally last me around a month with a bit of superglue to help. I skate quite a lot too. Might have to get some Half Cab Lites if I ever see some cheap, or maybe a pair of those Stage 4 Mids.

I loved all the stage 4 mids i had...
Sounds like I should get a pair, once I get a job

Stage 4s are great feeling, if you can get the all black crockett mid ones with the toughed suede then all the better!
You had me at "shit covered mongoloid".
I stand corrected on the colourways but the point remains that the first run of black mids with the tougher suede were superior to any other Stage 4.

Black with white and gum sole is the nicest colour way as well

My Half Cab Pros are lasting me pretty well, my only beef is that the foam padding around the back has fallen down to the heel, which is a bit annoying, at least for the first 5 minutes skating before i get used to it. Other than that, best shoe i've skated in a while.
