I think there is a lot of stuff as well circle road gaps that have been in a few girl and choc videos.

that said - that gap in particular got rinsed anyway with various heads at the top of their game - not that much left to do there
The baggot gap is there but its blocked with long stoppers than run perpendicular to the direction you skate on the ledge. You could but ply on top but by the time you have got it all set up security will more than likely have already told you off....pity.

Thanks for posting that - for some reason I thought people were talking about "another" Gonz gap at South Bank, then started watching that thinking "My God - it looks exactly the same!". Don't worry, I've worked it out now.

sure i remember seeing a photo of one of the powel team (Cab or Valley?) lipsliding the wall when they come over on the '88 bones tour? that wall would of got ripped if it didnt get killed by the barriers going up in 89/90. people would still skate it after the "driveway" got cobbled.
what I seem to remember is seeing some girls skating the wall on some of my first vists to southbank as a tiny kid.
Some skatepark builder should replicate that part of southbank in a London skatepark.

Good shit Naoise - haven't seen that in ages.
Wayne is a good lad - say hello from me when you next see him.

Busenitz tried to kickflip it some years back, just before he got on Real with that Thrasher cover at the Alameda park. Broke his arm in the process apparently, or so they said in a brief interview with him in I think Thrasher...

Likewise, got properly stitched up by 2 random passers by right at the wrong moment, ha...

Naoise, I guess the 3 steps and the path are still hittable? Infinite perfect run-up, just gotta go at mach 10 to get you over the gap and through the gash runout. Just 3 dudes have done that one I'm sure.

this thread coupled with the no war for heavy metal has made me go all misty eyed for Swansea skatepark. I had no idea it even had a name until I saw it on that documentary!

Poeple need to start posting pictures up of the things that they are saying, it would get me pretty stoked to see all this stuff.

Only things i know of that have been mensioned are the Gonz Gap, leap of faith, and the SB wallride.

I remember something very similar (would love to see the photo again) but I think it was a rock 'n' roll not a lipslide and I am almost certain it was Cab. I also remember a photo of him doing a footplant on one of the bollards there. I wish I could have skated that wall-ride though as it looked perfect, unfortunately it was long gone by the time I got down there.
