Default New Gravity Skatepark in High Brooms (Tunbridge Wells)

This park is around a month old now, replacing the old park that was on the site. It is pretty fun, but does have some flaws that maybe churchell on here can address!

My main problem with the place lies in the quality of the grind ledges. As you can sort of see on the picture below the edges are not flush. This means when you are doing a manual or rolling off it's best to pop a little bit when coming off. Also the dimensions of the T block are a bit rubbish. The bottom ledge is a lot higher than it should be in my opinion making manual variations almost impossible to try. Why aren't these pre fab models made to the same dimensions as the T-block at Dorking which in my opinion is perfect and which is also built by Gravity.

The floor is also the original floor which is a bit shit to be honest. I guess resurfacing it wasn't in the budget and gravity can't be blamed for this but is there a possibility of polishing concrete floors like this and applying a concrete finish over the top. I swear bay66 have done this in the past.

Anyway, the park is pretty fun, the mini dimensions are great and the flatbanks are really good to learn on. Just hope churchell can explain some of the issues I've raised.

Looks really fun to be honest, I'd say the main flaw is that it's not concrete... It's often hard to convince councils to go for concrete!

See what you mean about that block, there's another nice sized ledge so it may have been better to lower than one to do manuals.

That curvy ledge looks so fun, I love those. There's a rad concrete one at rotherham and it feels so good to tailslide it.

I didn't know gravity dabbled in the GBH style parks as well...

Our local skatepark has a concrete surface, industrial one applied with a helicopter. It is quite expensive but REALLY WORTH IT, it's amazing. No cracks or anything it's really strong and amazing to skate on.

There is a Maverick built park like this in Hook, Hampshire that is built on a poured concrete base and the ledge there has the exact same problem with the sunken edge.
