It's the most infamous of all UK secret govt research centres - its naming as a 'Science Park' on Wikipedia is ever so slightly disingenuous given its history too.
This whole Novichok thing stinks to me.

The BBC reported that the lady who died most recently came into contact with this nerve agent whilst 'skip diving' - I got the impression that we were obliquely being told that the people involved were heavy street drinkers poking around where they shouldn't have been.
Which again, stivks as an explanation, doesn't it?

When you get a news story with very vague details these days considering how many assumptions there normally are in the press it's pretty hard not to don the tinfoil.

The general vagueness of the whole this is the bizzare part. The Guardian have a story about a reasonably flash Audi being hauled away wrapped in cling film today, 40 miles from Salisbury.

It's actually the marketing campaign for Gosha Rubchinskiy, FW18. I like it, it's good to see somebody do something different like this.

when the first rescue guys got in the cave they said "good thing they brought all those digestives"

Thing that I've heard many experts say is that if they did happen upon the original source of the poison, it would have degraded naturally over this time. Make of that what you will, but it seems strange anyway that if it is 'residue' that they'd be the only ones to suffer.

He told MPs: “The simple reality is that Russia has committed an attack on British soil which has seen the death of a British citizen. That is something that I think the world will unite with us in condemning.”
Seems like the best thing to do, just make accusations first and prove it later.

The contempt with which all MP's from every party (with a few exceptions) treat us is justification enough to disregard almost everything they say to be honest.

Don't they realise that "It's the Russians" has turned into a meme?
