"Wrong-wheeled" wheeler - I must admit it could have been non-intentional. Sort of a "floater".

They also used to be called
    Wheels out
    2 wheels out
    3 wheels out etc

Please bear in mind this is even before my time!

    Now to Google "Lonnie Toft"...

To me that is fucking sick.
Ha, really? Fair play for being individualistic and all that lovely stuff but it just seems pretentious to me

Edit: Also pigdog, keep up the good work - I love hearing all the OG names for tricks and expanding my trick terminology! cheers

I don't think you could possibly call Jeff Tatum pretentious, I think he just doesn't give a shit

Always loved that photo. Even today that is gnarly, but I'd like to bet that back then a padless ollie blunt on harsh 70's vert crete was unprecedented.

Deeter was the epitome of the underground destroyer not interested in plaudits. He is so underated.

Also found another sick Grosso interview conducted by Steve Olson:

Been absolutely loving these loveletters, this one was no exception. Almost as good as the footplant one.

When you get to a certain point (ie high up) on a frontside carve/kickturn in a fullpipe you are often actually only on one wheel.

Been watching these at work and it's killing me as I keep wanting to get out and skate after each one. Really enjoyed the Phillips, Tatum and Footplant episodes!

So stoked that people a mentioning Deeter - so, so sick.

the JT interview has got to be one of my faves to date. i didnt know if JT was messing about as he also had a plasticy metal spike wristband. its good to know hes actually like that. Grosso was so stoked on him. After all his years in skating and the characters hes met he seemed a bit WTF but totally stoked. loving the loveletters and vans for this series
