Cynical because it's more likely that we need told the iPods rule than we do that music is good. It's hardly a revelation that music makes people happy, wakes people from comas and focuses the minds of people with brain injuries.

If I was making a film like that, I wouldn't feel the need to mention how the music was delivered. Unless Apple were paying, of course.

These "Look at Subject A overcoming their problems thanks to Product 1! Isn't it heartwarming, in this day and age?" videos with sombre classical music over the top are getting tedoius.

Yeah but we are talking about adults in this video. They are forever going to be astounded by things like the ipod that's why they say it so much. They don't understand MP3 etc as THE medium, it's the ipod that has the music on it like a record or CD. So much like they would say "put a record on" they will say "Put the ipod on".
