    What is notamake going with?

That is my account. It is tongue in cheek and is just supposed to be funny, I don't think anyone has been offended, especially not if the DMs are anything to go by.
What is all this controversy? Is it about the nollie flip at 1.55?

Yeah all a bit confusing, Manolos original post seems to be saying that TJs isn't 'proper' because he shifties it rather than going straight on like Ave but then once he starts getting flack he goes all sheepish and back tracks saying it wasn't hating when it quite clearly was. He said is was 'constructive criticism

I think someone was suggesting Weck and Notamake should rethink calling people out because of the backlash Manolo got in the comments. But Manolo's account is not a 'joke' account.

I posted a slowmo of a Shawn Powers mob flip and said it wasn't a make because he wasn't the gonz.

He commented 'yo fuck the gonz n***a', which I thought was pretty funny.

I'd go along with that as constructive criticsm, if you're deliberately trying to emphasise someone's pop and the trick isn't fully over then to say it's not as proper is totally fair in my view.

If people on insta want to view that as some terrible diss then that's their problem.

If I was being mega picky I'd say that the end of the board you're popping off needs to go over the obstacle and that all of the board has to be higher than the obstacle. He does the later but not the former.

I preferred AVE's one myself. Either way, nothing worth getting too upset over.

Clyde Singleton said something (Maybe an article in Big Brother? Or an interview?), about how tricks over poles (bins, ect) were illusions and not legit. As people rarley get their board full height (mainly 180s, 180 flip tricks or having to shifty). If you pause it, their trucks (back ones usually) are below the line that they’d have to be to do it over a bench, wall, straight flat rail, ect.
So he was always sceptical if you could call them makes.

Do the same rules apply to fakie ollies over bump to bars?

Manolo probably isn't backing Tyshawn's fakie ollie because it has a slight frontside shifty.

Fucking stupid thing to post on insta and a blatant attempt to stir the pot.

I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say they're not makes but to say that not going completely over (as Dent said; the end of the board you're popping off not going fully over) isn't as proper is totally acceptable.

Pretty funny that Strobeck said you have to 'shifty' over it as that's basically agreeing with the guy, whether he want to push buttons or not!

I don't give a fuck, it looked fucking ace! You could go as far to say that it's a different trick, different take on a trick, artistic license etc.

Come on then you fucks. Let's get nerdy.

Fig 1. Ooh naughty. The bins thattaway sunshine. He's way to he right of the bin.
Fig 2. That's just nice form.
Fig 3. Oh hello. Dippage. Clear sideways nose dippage.
Fig 4. The catch. Over bin height eventually.
Fig 5. Riding away to almost to the left of the bin.

So it's a bit of both. He eventually catches the board way higher than the bin but the board went to the side of it as well.
If you imagine that the bin is gone but it's now a wall that he's riding perpendicular to he would go over it (ala Mayhew over a handrail into the bank in The Storm [/shoehorn].

I doubt straight nolleing over something that big is even possible.

In conclusion - One nice nollie flip. 10/10.

    Haha good investigative work

Yeah as you said I don't think it would be possible to go straight on, you'd have to fucking tank it and pop so so early. Although if you showed some of the stuff over picnic benches these days to someone 10 years ago they'd probabaly say the same

Either way as you pointed out he does eventually get higher than the bin, just think manolos description of 'how to actually nollie flip over shit' comes across a bit dick-ish and is a pretty reductive way of looking at it
