On a Blueprint related note, where did Coakley go? He was always one of my favourites.

Wondering where Shier will end up...The National Skateboard Co perhaps??
Yeah i had loads of blueprints too. I bought them knowing that they would snap or get fucked up within a week but i didn't care cause blueprint was the shit.

I snapped my last Blueprint doing a kickflip on flat (check me out). Not a particularly bad landing it just fell apart and it was less than a week old. That was the last time I ever wasted my money.

I never had a problem with blueprints, they always lasted well for me. I haven't skated one in e few years though.

I snapped a Blueprint board doing an F/S flip off a drop after only having ridden it to the spot 5 mins from my house. I did however buy more of their boards and really loved at least 3 I had. All from the same series, a Palmer, then a Baines then a Kennedy. They were pretty flat and skated really well.

To be fair, skateboards are really brittle when they're new and you need to get a few dings in it before it could take a drop or two.

    In my experience anyway.

Yeah, maybe I just had a bad one but it really pissed me off. I was short of cash then and a brand new board snapping like that coloured my perception of their product. It was a lovely graphic too, a Neil Smith with some sort of paisley pattern on the bottom if memory serves.

I can see how it would, An Alien board went under me on a fakie flip on flat, again, first trick. I never revisited their boards again. (Although did have a Seek board from same stable I suppose).
I was not as weighty as I am now and I am not exactly a porker now.
