Yeah, I'm lucky as fuck, I'll never deny that. A few career choices dropped me right in that position (well, working hard helped too).

New camera? I've been turning down the offer of "whatever I want" for the past two years. Having the best equipment would just add fuel to the fire of the people like you that don't think I deserve to be paid to film. I'll stick with the knackered VX I bought with my own money thanks.

Sorry for the reddit sounding title forumites but this really isn't that big news so I thought it fitting.

Cheers guys! SMP is a ghost town. Depressing as it's one of, if not the most ambitious big-transition parks I've ever ridden. It's just been let-down by poor location, lack of skaters, and slightly substandard build quality, with the result that the place is now looking pretty haggard. The scene IS improving though, helped in a big way by old Brummie local, Bobby Male.

Video put together by my Venezuelan neighbour of footage captured at two parks. There is another section of just him and it is pretty good. Shall pop that up for a look too.

I explained my desire to get some footage over for the WOD edit and he has agreed to film since he cannot skate after a knee op. Yippee
