Default The Boardroom Skatepark closing down

As you've heard, the Boardroom Skatepark in Leicester is closing down. Dave, Tina, Vicky and the rest of the King family have done so much for the scene since the opening of the Boardroom. It'll be a sad loss.

The park will be re-opening under new management and a new name. Hopefully see you all down there for the closing shred.

Callun will be making a banging edit with the crew that'll be up soon.
    I'll probably film something aswell.

    R.I.P Boardroom.

New Balance endorsed, Midlands based answer to rival Nike and Bay66?
Seemed a well run park so props to the guys for keeping it going and at least it is not a full on close down so to speak.

Won't be the same without Dave dancing and shouting random abuse at people. The King's did a great job of running broom for all these years and I can only hope it doesn't all go to shit without them.

Do you know who is taking over yet Forde?

The Kings went into the business knowing nothing about it, and made it one of the best indoor establishments in Leicester. I wish them all the best.
My homie Lee Holmes is taking over, he's passionate as fuck about skateboarding, lets hope he can run the business good! I'm sure he would, he's a super rad guy.

Well I think the fact that it is not only the last park in Leicester still standing but is also doing really well, as far as I can tell, shows how good of a job they have done.

Sick, at least it is a local guy who has an appreciation for skateboarding and not some scooter kids bint mum taking over!

From what I hear, he has a good ton of plans and aims to keep it running the same, keeping business the same. The only negative I've heard is that he's putting in too much for the space. Opening more lines, but creating more collision.

It can go really good, or really bad. I'm backing him 100%, and I'm backing the Kings 100% on their new journey!

Dave is a legend, and he'll be sorely missed. Hope this new chap does just as good a job, but as long as he isn't some scooter kid parent then I imagine the park is in good hands.

See you there for a shred soon Forde!
