I've forgotten my 'Blacklisted' password so 'Voltsenhulme' will have to try to answer this. It'll will have an impact I would imagine. It's been a while since I had anything to do with the retail side of things so I might be a bit (or waaaaay) out with these figures but I'll try my best. Take a REAL deck for example; At full price these are bought at (approx) £30.00 & are sold for £55.99. So the £25.99 immediately drops to £15.99 per deck. Take out the cost of staff sorting these in the warehouse, storing them (space costs money), paying for delivery to stores & paying all overheads along the way until a customer buys it etc etc, I would imagine there will be no profit in skate decks for the next two weeks (if not a loss). Please don't quote me on this though as I have absolutely nothing to do with this side of things any more - to be honest I'm no more clued up than anyone who has historically worked in skate retail; a present day S.O.S owner or distribution company employee may well be able to give you a better idea of the figures involved.

Come on R1 haters! Hit them where it hurts and support a good cause! tell you what, I'll buy a deck from them and send it to the first person to pm their address to me (as long as uk based).
