Sorry, I assumed you were refering to the posts mentioning fisheye attachments not apps.

    Carry on..

I got a Creative Zen Vado cam off secretshake from this forum (thanks again mate!) and it's fantastic. Charge it with your computer, then upload footage like it's a USB drive, simple as. You can film in two different HD modes too. They aren't completely Mac friendly, you have to convert the clips you filmed with ffmpegX before fucking about with them in iMovie or something but it's pretty easy to do.
Not sure how much they are brand new (I think about 40ish quid for 2 gigs and 120ish for 8 gigs, not sure at all) but I'd totally get one again if I lost or broke mine.

Can you film in a lower res than the phone default? I recently swapped from a 3gs to a 4 (default = HD) and would like to be able to preserve disc space if needs be.

I rate the Kodak Zi8 . Well similar to the Flip and that one Francois posted (which looks wicked) but main difference being that it takes an SD card (so no having to carry a laptop around to dump footy when it's full. Just keep swapping out SD cards ad infinitum).
Only thing that would make it much better is if it took AA's.

The 1st model Digital Harinizumi is great (and tiny). Not tried the later models.

I use a stick on fish eye on both and it's wicked.
It attaches with a stick on magnet. I used them all but still had more cameras to stick it on so i fashioned an adaptor/step up ring or whathaveyou with the washer from a skateboard wheel.

Go Pro camera's seem pretty good if you're just in the market for something small to film with.

But lots of options out there that are cheaper though...

I tried shooting one edit on an iPhone 5:

Trouble is that the lens is really close to the top of the camera, so none of the existing lenses really work well. Makes it hard to stop vignetting and get a sharp image. It's also very light so keeping it steady is tough, but that's going to be true of any camera phone.

To get around the lens issue, you might need a case like this:

You can use a mini tripod stand as a cheap handle too:

My friend bought one of those Go Pro Hero3 Black Edition cameras the other day. So excited to use it, the specs on it are absolutely ridiculous.

+1 for Kodak zi8 but you do need a stick on fisheye as the normal wide field of vision makes for boring skate footage. Memory cards and robust construction make it a winner.
