Traditionally, porridge/porage/poo-rage is eaten with salt.

It is also apparently referred to in the plural (ie. "how are they?" "they are tasty with salt, thanks"), and consumed standing as opposed to seated.

Is there an online place for watching old Partridge that's free? And, you know, not completely shady?

There's a funny bit in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace when he apologises to some Scots that he has no salt for their porridge

Haha! Cheers Les, I'd just assumed they wouldn't be on Youtube, for copyright reasons or some such bollocks. Will do my research next time, boss.

I also have the Radio 4 mp3 episodes on my laptop at home.

I'll bung 'em in my dropbox and put a link here later.

Ah yup. There were only 6.

He hasn't quite nailed his voice in those, so it's almost like a different character.
    Funny as fuck though.

Not sure how I feel about the film idea. I just can't imagine how it will work.
The Radio & TV series are so good I can quite happily go back to them over and over and always find them funny. That is quite something as I am normally a watch it once and leave it alone type of viewer.
On my portable hard drive I have the two I'm Alan Partridge series which I have been watching yet again to fill my time.
The online Fosters thing, Midmorning Matters was quite good too. The Open Books thing I wasn't keen on, Places Of My Life had its moments.

Knowing Me, Knowing you! I almost forgot to mention. Also brill.

Pretty sure you could batter someone to death with an air rifle. Or run them over with a Flymo.

Anyway, here's the mp3's of the Radio 4 KMKY's. I forgot that there was a mockumentary about the making of it (that's the top file, but don't listen to it until you've listened to all the episodes! It's not particularly hilarious, but it'll fill one or two bus journeys nicely):

    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/en1xu45a5uefy1s/LYTPfQakaP

Downloading the lot as a .zip seemed to be taking a while (it's about 189mb). Clicking on and downloading each file seemed to be quicker. Just right-click open in folder and drag them into an easier accessible folder than your standard download folder.

    Hope that works.
