I can actually understand perfectly why people don't like FB, it's just that they pretty much never back it up by deleting their account.

I don't have that option sadly because of my job.

We all know you secretly love it.

    Haha...

The Daewon interview was well good.

    Lulz.

    Puleo today:

He's certainly getting some good interviewees in for the last posts. Who next? Gator?!

Fucking hell, he doesn't half go after Suciu:

I’m watching it thinking to myself that first off, Adidas is basically paying for this kid to go out to Philly to mimic and skate all this shit that took Rick and other's years to unearth and nurture. Second, they’re paying this filmer schmoe to hold this kid’s hand to these spots. They're paying to put the kid up, put food in his mouth, fly him home when he gets homesick and wants to see Mom and what not. Fly him back when the weather was manageable. I mean come on. Personally, I thought the part was basically a simulation or portrayal of someone who actually is from or around Philly. Amazing skating and all, but a simulation of someone who is actually a Philly local. Ridiculous. The dude’s from San Wherever or wherever he's from. He's not from Philly.

    good read

I admires his idea of a hip hop-inspired code of conduct - but alas, it means having to take skateboarding way too seriously.

Like Oyola, BP undoubtedly helped shape skating - with good tricks, decent coverage and possessing a style that grabbed your attention - perhaps a dumpy/ twinklier version of Matt Reason. But hearing him and Oyola being all bitter is saddening.

Although I can understand his perspective of not being keen on robotic kids all skating the same & the demise of the spot searcher, he just comes across as a bitter prick whilst talking about Suciu. It's as though he sees legitimacy as his generation's entitlement only & as though he's never even heard the term "standing on the shoulder of giants". Thing is, even if he feels this way, given Suciu's declaration of Puleo's Static II section being his favourite, you'd have thought he'd have had a little more human decency & not torn him to shreds without the chance of rebuttle. Bottom line: fuck Bobby Puleo - he's evidently a rude, bitter bastard &, laughably, is now standing on his own shoulders whilst being a parody of his former self putting out a part 5050ing into mellow cellar doors.

That Suciu Philly part is perfect: Amazing skating, nods to the city's history & sublime filming/editing.

I agree with Volst here. The rest of the interview was a good read but some of the reasons he came up with for hating on Sucui were pretty rediculous. Disliking someone from the west coast 'cos they skate the east coast better then he does and trying to come up with reasons to say it isn't legit.

Doesn't he skate London for chucks of his static 2 part? So shut up about other people skating in cities that are not their own and filming or is it just okay for him? Hmmm...
