That's a bummer, I emailed Sole tech to see if the had any eS Leed kicking about after the announcement of the "creative hiatus" as I really liked 'em - they said no but suggested a couple of Emerica & Etnies pairs that had the same footbed.

RE Hi-tec being true ghetto - that's nothing, I fucking dreamed of Hi-tec. I remember getting a pair of Nicks for the first time, being so excited I couldn't sleep that night as I now owned a "brand name" & then getting psychologically torn to shreds the next day coz even the poorest of the council estate kids wouldn't dare be seen in a pair of them. Oh what I'd have given for a pair of Hi-tec.

Oh yeah, Palace & Reebok? Meh.

I remember getting British Knights for my b'day and they cost alot for trainners back then, then fucking Nicks stole the design and no-one in my area really knew what British Knights were so thought the were Nicks, gutted!

It was all about the Brooks hi-tops. I think they were about £15, possibly less. Had about 5 pairs on the bounce.

I remember having a pair of Kangaroos that were originally for school. Had to keep skating them with a fist sized hole in the ollie area until my mum could afford to buy more. I wrapped my sock in packing tape before each skate. Fun times. Also, for tea I only had a damp cloth to suck on.

One of the previous statements is false.

I skated in adidas Streetballs in the 20 Shot days.

I suppose these stories show how much times have changed, I doubt any kid in the country wears cheap trainers to school now.

Great idea! When Windsors world of shoes first opened in Middleton (rough area of Leeds) I snuck these in as my mum was paying. I got grounded for a month (they were £20) & had to do loads of extra chores but it was fucking worth it.

I'm trying to find images of Cica (not Circa!) shoes but it seems they have completely changed their image. I remember the all-black model with red lights at the back was the shit in my school.
Which one is greater, Sun or Moon?

The answer is The Moon because Sun shines in the day when there is already light available. But moon shines in the night when there is no light.

One of these pairs of Reeboks better have the flashing lights in the heel except it shouldn't rely on pressure when placed rather it should just be a constant strobe, constant rave trainer with a built in smoke machine too.

    I'd queue for days.

    Stacks on stacks of £85s.
