I think he means 'poofy' as in fluffy, not in a slur way.

    Without a doubt.

Palasonic and Hockey 3 both have bagpipes in them, in tunes that aren’t America No More.

Finally got around to watching it this weekend. The intro is hilarious/genius. Blondey had some really impressive stuff - he's got a really good understanding for constructing lines. Brady/Lucien/Rory were other standouts. Juan had some rad bits, and Charlie Young is always a pleasure to watch.

Anyway... I was really psyched to go out and skate for a bit after watching it. Decided I'd head out for a freezing insomnia solo mission around Victoria area. For those that know Victoria benches, which I imagine is most of you, there are loads of homeless people sleeping nearby. Before hitting Cardinal Place, I first cruised into the benches for a minute pretending I've got a nollie switch nosegrind like Lucien in me (absolutely don't, by the way) and see there are loads of people sleeping, so I just decided it best not to interrupt and instead skate through and head off in the direction of the other spots nearby. Some guy in a sleeping bag emerges from the darkness and moves toward me. Fully expecting to ask if I've got a cigarette or change, he just straight up asks if I've seen the new Palace video and he tells me this spot is in it.

Felt really bizarre that a homeless non-skater had seen the new Palace video before me.

    Great story indeed!

What is a nollie switch nosegrind?

    Backside/frontside nollie into a switch front/back nosegrind.

Lucien does loads of these sorts of variations in the tribute section.

Mwadlands looks so wicked. I think it is absolutely remarkable that they have gifted London with this place.
I don't even skate or live in England and i'm excited by it.

Same here. Might treat myself to a quick trip to London for this and the Basquiat show (and a pint or two with smoke, jim and floor) this winter.

It is all pretty big, fast and slightly scary at first, but great. Also the ledges are marble (or polished granite or something)
