Got round to watching some vids that have been sat in the drawer ..
The House Video - a sort of unofficial Anti-Hero vid. Dont remember much. Drunk blokes being unpleasant.
Magenta - Soliel Levant - I was extremely surprised at how good this was. Was sure it would rub me up the wrong way. I was very wrong. Takahiro Morita's part is fantastic. Best skid vid since overground broadcasting probably.
Tengu - God Of Mischief - Again, very surprised at how 'not shit' this was. I was dreading the magenta vid so you can imagine what little hope i had for this. Once more I was pleasantly surprised to find myself very wrong. Worth watching alone cos it's got the footy of that geezer ollieing the subway tracks in NYC (what there was a wicked snap of in 43 magazine or whatever that thing is called)
Sweet Mafia - Stee - This is just all out wicked. All the insanely tech euro's that i'd never heard of are well good. Two of them wear their hair in bun and look like Scratchy D . One of the Scratchy D's does something mental as his ender that I'd totally never seen done before.
Wes Kremer really is in the handful of guys out there that just melts my mind right now. Front pop shuv to backside wall ride looks is amongst the most stylish things that can be done on a skateboard and his pole jam into the bank is absolutely sci-fi. Kremmers industrial sized ganja intake has left him with something 'Penny-esque' style wise. There is one particular ollie he does that captures that otherworldlyness that Penny (and Penny alone) was born with. Wes clearly studies The Tao of Tom and praises Jah enough to be 'The Dude' right now.
GX1000 - Episodes One - Ten - TBH, i haven't watched this yet.
EDIT - I completely forgot that I also watched Dime - Turd Season and Studio - Moonlighting.
I think that the fact that I forgot I had even watched these two probably speaks volumes.

Vid of the year for me was Heroin - Video Nasty.
The Gou and Chopper parts in partic.
I will definitely say, and I'm sure this fact isn't lost on anybody here, but as people have generally got better at skateboarding, and as high end equipment is becomes more accessible - videos have gotten way, way ,way more shit.

Yeah Video Nasty for me too, all the British parts are off the chain, especially Rogie's
Recent ones - Shads and 11th Hour.
