Can't help but think JS has it all wrong by waiting till everything is shot before editing. Surely a woefully inefficient & forgetful way of doing things? That never, ever worked for me years back.

Spouted all the same stuff Stewart mentions in that interview, along with all his "rules" for skating & filming at new spots, or at least new spots to him, regardless of who did what and where, and then was called out to be hypocrite by various London/SB locals. Turned out to be one massively self-important & arrogant underachievement who despite his belief he's still a pro skater and artist (by collecting discarded fag packets, arranging them in a grid & photographing them), is now washing dishes in an NYC diner. In short, don't be a fuckwit.

Good read, like hearing little stories behind videos. Shame videos dont come with commentary like Lost and Found did so you can fully geek out.

Sure there was something about Bobby getting on Landscape at one point, but in the end they could only manage to give him a guest board?

There's the bronze board with his name misspelled on it. I like that.

Need to pick up a copy of Static IV soon, been rinsing the Jake Johnson and Yonnie Cruz sections on Thrasher.

There was a whole other controversy around that - Fos et al have posted on here about it before.
It'll be in the archives somewhere.

Also - remember that Chinese rip-off Puleo board?
    Oh the ironing....

He's a bell. I'd love to take him to a spot and see him try and claim it as his then deny him footage and leak it... or something. Not thought this through.

I admire Puleos's vision of how skating 'should' be - and having the balls/ sulking capacity to pull it off.
well, admire might be a bit strong

yeah there's nowt wrong with washing dishes while trying to achieve whatever it is your trying to achieve. plenty wrong with being a chief about it though

I've realised I've been confusing Bobby Puleo and Ricky Oyola for some time.

Bobby Puleo used to ride for enjoi right? Whilst Ricky Oyola is the EE dude who skates loading bay doors and is generally angry about shit and now washes dishes because he's argued his way out of every sponsor. But apparently Bobby now washes dishes in the same situation and both, it turns out, have ridiculous rules when it comes to skateboarding.
