Let's book Mike Vallely and pelt the living fuck out of him with sandwiches.

I have some 54mm 85A Death Wish on a cruiser that I sometimes skate to work on, they're just like 'normal' wheels but they're faster, they can handle rough ground and they don't slide out on fast corners. They're rad because they're not massive spongey things that weigh you down, you can still pop up a curb. Only downside is you can't powerslide so I end up dragging my foot to slow down and that wears down one shoe faster than the other.

Boring question, anyone recommend a light jacket that is actually waterproof?

I might just get one of these, I can just write Volcom or Carhartt on it in Tipp-ex

Do it - I buy budget numbers (Regatta / Mountain Warehouse) and cover the logos with skate patches.

    Haven't heard anyone laughing yet.

I've got a Carhartt one (from a charity shop) that looks well waterproof. Is it fuck. So I'm tempted by the budget option for sure.

Main thing with most cheapish waterproofs is just don't wash them, or if you have to then use a pure soap (non bio, non detergent)
They use a coating on the outer face of the fabric which gets destroyed by washing, so don't wash them and they'll stay waterproof.
Regatta jacket for £20 or North Face for £80, same thing with differing roadman status

Bit of drama at my work earlier.

I looked up from my computer and out the window to see a skaghead furtively pushing my bosses (very expensive) KTM road bike straight out the front of our business onto a main road and down the pavement.
It's hard to describe how unbelievably brazen this was!

The bike was out the back, he's taken it round the side alley and out the front because the back is full of parked cars so he couldn't get it through there. He's had to scrape a car getting it through the front as well.
He also had to take it down three steps and round a 90 degree turn which I can't believe he managed because I could hardly stand it up on its own it was so heavy. This guy was small too.
    Lots of practice I guess.

It was in plain sight with tons of witnesses around. He just didn't give a fuck.
It took me a few seconds to understand what was happening it was so ridiculous.

We all pegged it after him with me on the phone to the police. He threw the bike down into some bins and disappeared off down a back alley.
Little bastard came round earlier on a pushbike scoping out the route.

It was all caught on good CCTV and I'll be...surprised if this was his first offence.
    Scum. Subhuman scum.

Broke the usual monotony of the normal working day though!
