    I'll watch it.
Obviously the whole "National pride" thing and competition will suck a bit (God I hope the US crowd don't scream "U-S-A! U-S-A!"...), but as a skater I will recognize real and give the person on screen a nod from my position on the couch.

must admit I quite like the national stereotypes that come out during the Olympics/world cup. such as the general fucking radness of Scottish people wherever they are, or Japanese fans staying behind afterwards and tidying up

    I mean the arrogant types.

Scots, Irish, Japanese, whoever is just stoked to take part, I'm all for that.

Interesting interview with one of the French team's coaches:

    http://www.freeskatemag.com/2018/01/...oarding-coach/

Only 4 skaters from Europe will actually compete at the Olympics, which is crazy! There's going to be a big Euro comp beforehand to decide who goes. Can LA or someone clarify that a bit for us. Is it 4 street and 4 park skaters? Or just 4 overall?

Also none of the French team are over 21.

Have any other teams been announced? I know Norway's have.

I have no interest in olympic articles, i'm only interested in witnessing the shit show when it happens and the hilarity across skate media during and afterwards.

Not everyone can get their hands on them unfortunately. Totally missed this issue.

Once all three hours are edited to something suitable for TV viewers, you might not even catch it.

I can't take any of it seriously unless the judging takes the skater's trousers into account.

Who will get the UK female and male spots for street and park in your opinion?

Well that was a thoroughly depressing article. I was hoping to cheer on our GB Team at Tokyo 2020. Probably not even make it that far
