I never want to hear that song again.

Haven't really heard anything official about the viewing figures yet but this is interesting

"Sky said they've doubled the viewing figures they usually get for Sky One in that time slot so they're very happy."

Well, great news for the BMX and rollerblade industries.

While Blackwell's strop was hilarious, there must have been a bit of WWE-type theatrics there. Unless he really is that bad.

I haven't seen it, I missed it in person too. There's got to be a meme in that somewhere!?

My kids are addicted to this now so been getting into it- comedy galore! Not sure how it does anything negative for skateboarding- probably the opposite. Slappies are still free.

But your kids will have seen plenty of real skate videos, or actual skating, and anybody who's clueless to skateboarding is never going to learn the fun to be had with a slappy from this. Apart from the race at the end, with the headstart, the skateboarding in it looks really frustrating. Although somebody doing a BS flip on the high jump landing was a nice bit of real skating that slipped through. Hopefully that cancels out not being able to go over a see-saw for some viewers.

Not that I go to skateparks much, so I don't care if driveways are demolished to make way for giant spinning blenders.

I don't get that really, kids understand that rollerblading's easier as they stuck to your feet and that. I don't think it's gonna put any future shredders off if that's where they're headed. There's always been daft stuff on TV

    Heard down the skate park.

"Lucy Adams was back on, so basically they couldn't get enough contestants, so if you don't win you just come back and have another go week after week and the same people lose and win"

I call her LA in real life. I forget Lucy has a real name, haha, sorry Lucy.

But it does seem super weak that they don't have enough new people to back up the length of the series.

That doesn't make much sense because the winners don't come back so the same people don't win. But yeah it is a bit lame that out of the people good enough to do it not many wanted to. When you look at the contents of this thread people knew what they would be getting into.
