whyd you say that? And don’t give it some shit about it being a “skatepark” at soggy old wooden flat bank as a kicker is a skatepark in the loosest sense of the term

Yeah I agree with Haven here hugo - what is it about the H one that you're lol'ing at?

That was objectively gnarly to me.

It's just an ollie and I think a few huckers could have done it.

Lol I swear your perception of skateboarding and what you deem 'good' is so so warped to me. Obv you've put in your time, can properly skate and probably one of the best skaters on this forum (at least at one point) but to the unassuming eye you'd think you were some bloke that 'used to skate' and asks everyone what their best trick is outside the Yates on a Saturday afternoon and who can do the most flips is the best

Grove's is 'just an ollie' and I'm sure if it wasn't in Wakefield (?) and was in a major city centre someone would've stepped up to it again before Manhead

(Not to take anything away from it still agree it's one of UK gnarliest enders)

Like I said before, you really have to see it in real life to get an idea, the footage looks pretty gnarly still but does not have the impact because we've been exposed to allsorts since. Does not look anywhere as big as it did back then. Real life though... proper wrong.
I have seen the spots you mentioned and yeah, totally bonkers too.

Grove's is over a handrail with no ramp assist into a steep as fuck brick bank, way way gnarlier the H's ollie which was ramp to ramp in a skatepark.

It's in Sheffield HH - one of the most heavily skated/filmed and visited of UK cities outside of London/Bristol.
I've been there with numerous US pros and all of them have said 'fuck no'.

Lol not gonna go round in circles on 'which was gnarlier' but to call that a 'ramp to ramp in a skatepark' is REEEEEEALLY downplaying it

Go back and watch they footage he is tanking it, that bar is high and the flatbank he's popping off is some fucked up old piece of wood not to mention landing in that wierd 70s style bowl corner tranny.
