You have every right to be excited, I got a redundancy payout from my last job and threw nearly all of it at my flat and struck gold with the builder I found (I've since recommended him to some friends and they're really impressed). Some of the best money I've ever spent, all the hard work I put into my last job staring back at me on a daily basis, great stuff.

Probably don't feel that comfortable going into much detail on here but it is a good feeling to work your arse off and get to this place. Gonna be commuting from the coast into London but looking forward to the change and a better life for the nippers

It's not mid life crisis material obviously but it's about as middle class and middle aged as it gets. That boot is just so practical.
I've been keen on one of these or a Passat, Volvo's don't seem to make here that much so when they do they go quick- that's the V60 model right?

Last car I had the standard CLS coupe, a classic huge Merc barge, great as a motorway GT car but alas was a diesel so had to sell it for fuck all before I moved to Estonia.

Current drive is a RAV4 Hybrid. It is so insanely average at it's job it goes full circle and is the most blandest (but great, if that makes any sense?) car I have ever driven. It's so fucking boring I forget what it looks like

All these cars are for people with drives and/or garages. Middle class confirmed.

We've just gone from a 3 door Polo to a 5 door Golf. It's an automatic which feels like cheating and I don't know how I coped without parking sensors before.

Great poke on motorways as well when overtaking.

I parked mine on the street in Walthamstow as I lived in a flat. Was amazed I never had a break in, but then again I always made sure there was nothing in sight

On Friday I had to go to a work do sober which was absolute fucking agony in itself.

I finally snuck off as soon as I could around 9pm.

When I got home it took me nearly one fucking HOUR to park my car. I was sat at the end of my road almost in tears. There was just nothing. Nothing at all.

I finally squeezed into a space tighter than a nuns tuppence doing a 100 point shuffle in the howling rain.

I can't wait to not live on a terraced street. It's one of the main reasons why I hate driving.
