    RAW CANVAS ARE THE FANTASTIC YOUTH GROUP MADE UP OF 15-23 YEAR OLDS WITHIN TATE MODERN. WE PUT ON FABULOUS FREE EVENTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND INVITE YOU TO THE LATEST: THE YOUTH EVENTS OF THE MAY BANK HOLIDAY LONG WEEKEND AT TATE MODERN THIS WEEK – FRI 26TH- MON 29TH MAY 2006.

    A FANTASTIC Choice FM MC battle with performances by Boya, Saskilla, Lumes, Hoodlem, Mr Gee and Street Politiks 4-8pm – Futurist Friday 26th May
    CRAZY Physical Calligraphy dance workshops 2pm – Surrealist Saturday 27th May
    SPECTACULAR VJ/DJ extravaganza with FUNKY digital graffiti workshops 12-3pm Abstract Sunday 28th May
    AMAZING live music with performances from Kat Johnson, Samata X, Fae Simon and Mark Feathers hosted by Dr Stew and with EXTRAORDINARY visuals by Joey Skye and Annalisa Banello – 1-5pm Minimalist Monday 29th May

    ALSO –

    They are, right? I mean, if you are into Skateboarding, you must be into graffiti, right?
    Otherwise, that'd be like saying that skaters don't all love the kiteboarding, for example. Of course they do. It's the next step. I mean, they don't even have to push...The kite does all the work! They must love it.

    Those crazy, extreme kids! I'm so glad we've given them this crazy, extreme event to go to. It'll stop them from mugging old ladies for the day, at least.

    Sorry. I'm a cynical bastard.

    I wonder how much the Choice FM MC's are getting for the day? I wonder if they are throwing down some cash for a few select skaters, or at least a little best trick competition to inspire everyone to get a session on...or maybe they just expect that we would be so ecstatic with having a ramp there, that we'll forget completely that we are doing a good portion of the crowd pleasing and won't worry that MC Choicey Choice is actually doing what he is good at and earning for his efforts, too.
