    The Founder is really great.

It's about the guys that started McDonald's and (highlight for spoiler): the sales guy they'd employed stealing the whole business and leaving them with nothing.

    Anyone been to see Elle?

Couldn't decide my thoughts on it really. It's a very bizarre film.

Saw it the other day on a flight to Hong Kong.
    It was totally fucking buzzing.
So good. Best film I have seen in a very long time.
Hugely impactful , extremely deep, unsettlingly political, very sad.
Essentially it's a film about Fukashima , international diplomacy , NATO / UN and Nuclear Power.

it feels like nothing else around these days . In fact, the only sensible comparison would be with an old Godzilla movie. It's so far away from a Transformers or a Marvel film.
    I loved it so much.

(followed it with the New York Harry Potter film which was shit and then Doctor strange which was better but also pretty shit. Then I did fuck all for the remaining 16 hours. )

Watched it last night, fucking great in places! Like how they used the original sound effects and music too.

I liked that it was slow and then slowly built up to 'WTF, ooooh, i see'.

Goes into some problematic territory but thought as a film it was excellent. Didn't expect it to be as funny as it was

I know, right? Even some of the rape scenes had obvious traces of black comedy. I didn't know how to receive some of the parts that normally one should be shocked by.

Next film on the list is this:

Looking forward to seeing this. Isabelle Huppert is incredible and can do no wrong in my eyes.
