Watched Good Time few weeks back, anyone seen it? Fucking hell maybe one of the best straight thrillers I've seen EVER. Proper edge of your seat from start to finish

(Apols if its already been discussed here)

My mate made that film, starred in it too! CMOAC

Stoked it's made enough of a wave back in the UK for people to be watching it too.

Josh and Benny are both good dudes. Super film nerds who've been making little movies for a while now, and are finally getting some recognition.

Next one is going to be Scorcese produced!

    No way! That's fucking sick

Yeah film totally caught me off guard with how relentless it was (in the best possible way), as said before one of the most tense things I've ever seen. Need to delve into their back catalogue and very much look forward to whatever they have cooking up

    Watched Raw the other night.

I went in not knowing anything about it other than it was Kermode's film of the year last year and I can't stop thinking about it – I can't remember the last time a film made such an impact on me. Highly, highly recommend, but not for the faint of heart and definitely not a film to watch while you're eating your dinner.

I know what you mean but I still like him, way better than most reviewers, I mean have you seen / heard Robbie Colin? If you think Kermode is annoying you'll feel like you lost a quart of plasma listening to him.

Darkest Hour is just Dunkirk told from the other prospective. People flapping about in Parliament instead of a beach. I didn’t know it was going to be about that exact time frame too. It just seems odd to bring out two big films about the same thing, so close togeather. Didn’t really learn anything new from it.

As for my main gripes, they just had too many jokes in there right from the off and some key characters just weren't upto it such as Snoke, he was rubbish in the last one and they didn't even give him any kind of back story or depth in this.
I've been speaking/shouting about it to some different friends. There were definitely too many jokes, which were mostly shit and uncalled for, even cringy.

..........SPOILERS!!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU"VE NOT SEEN "THE LAST JEDI"............

The whole thing with Snoke didn't make sense, but I was sent this yesterday which might explain a little? Maybe not though.

Princess Leia bit is just so stupid. Really really stupid.

The whole storyline with Laura Dern is pointless. Why not just tell Poe what the plan is? Why keep him in the dark, causing a short lived mutiny? They didn't have many rebels left and i'm pretty sure some guys got shot because of it?!

Also, "Oh there's an uncharted planet right there, we'll escape to it undetected". Despite the baddies having a big fucking window that looks onto the spaceship that they're attacking!

Fin wakes up. Last thing he was doing was fighting Kylo Ren in the woods with a lightsaber. You's think he'd have some BIG questions. Wakes up, makes a new friend then goes on a pointless mission to introduce loads of new toys, oops i mean characters. But initially needed help from Maz Kanata on how to do said mission. But she was was too busy to give any help or info due to a union dispute, but thens actually does the give help and info required.

The fight scene with Ray & Kylo was amazing.

Luke Skywalker's milking, cheeky wink, and shoulder dusting will go down in history as the biggest let down in movie character history.

Maybe a bit OTT lol, but it was cheesy as fuck. Force Awakens was great. Less is more.
