Galway's rad, even if it's just for partying. Haven't been there in ages, but I've heard that Eyre Square is sick for skating, along with the university.

Belfast and Dublin are both worth the trip for skating and partying, particularly in Dublin. The new concrete is supposedly heaps good, if that floats your boat.

Cork, hmmm, haven't been there in ages again, but I've always had a blast down there.

Shannon and Limerick = yuck. Not sure about skating there though.

Donegal and the entire western coastline is utterly beautiful and even that alone would be the showpiece of any tour.

In Helsinki at the moment, I love it, even if the weather's all over the place. One of my favourite places to visit.

    i'll see what happens.

Just went on a day trip to Tallinn when I was in town last summer. Seemed pretty good, but I wasn't skating at all. Saw a couple of interesting spots, but nothing of epic proportions. I don't know, there's something I really like about Finland, like the way that even in the depths of winter, the snow doesn't stop people doing things or that every town has excellent sport facilities. That sort of thing - they seem to get things done properly here. That one skatepark I was at today is run by the city in an old bomb shelter and it's one of the best indoor parks I've ever been to, even if it does close for the summer.

yeah harry and a good mate of mine who lived there told me about that park. it's meant to be steaming hot in there nah ?
i love the northern countries although i only know the scandinavian ones, i guess it's time for me to go explore something a bit different.
the light alone in the north is just fascinating. i feel all melancholy there, but in a good way. strange.

    Emo, haha...

That park isn't cold, but yeah, I was sweating healthily at the end of the session. Summer is amazing here - if I could afford to move here for June and July I would.

Edit - seeing the sea frozen over with 2ft of ice is well nuts too, particularly on a warm (8C) sunny day like today...

    I can't believe I still don't know what I'm doing this summer.
I have tons of ideas but I'm not sure people will follow me...
Slovkia again? Bulgaria? Estonia/Finland? Stay more or less at home and work and have a big trip next year?
