Default Hereford Skatepark - Plans and Meeting

There will be the final, and very important, public meeting for Hereford Park this Thursday (28th) at 6.30 at Close House in the city centre. I'll post a map shortly.

Here are some plans i've just recieved. Comments please!

That looks really intresting/thought out. But always hard to tell with no scale/dimensions

Is the walk way up to the stairs/gen gap an entrance? otherwise I would put something in there at the end.

I'd agree if possible at least put a quarter opposite the wemberly gap for speed into it or you'll have to push like a nutter

yep, just add a quarter or bank opposite the euro gap and you're in heaven.

Put a ledge going at 45degrees across the top of the hip which will also act as a manny pad. Can the space between the left corner of the square hip and the curved end of the tranny be joined up somehow, if it would work?

Change that flat bar/barricade to a jersey barrier as you can then wallride it, but still nut yourself like a flat bar. Make the ledge into a steep banked ledge on the grinding side and the LHSside facing the viewer so you can wallie up the ledge and pop grind/slide tricks into the bank. Or perhaps a gap to the block then bank down at the bottom, like that one gap to manny/slide/grind to bank spot in Malaga? Shier had a trick on it in at night in the montage in First Love...

Yes I know one side is a wembley gap, but seriously, ditch the stairs. No need whatsoever. At least dump the bottom flight and swap for a bank so you can hit the rail and hubba on the way up from both sides.

See that 3rd & Army style block arrangement? Swap it for a 3up 3down...

Otherwise, it's looking dope!

i agree with much of what you say Ciaran, but the rail is a replica of a Hereford spot (the B&Q rail) which is soon to be demolished, hence the inclusion
