see when i was wee, i used to draw logos like m-zone or t&c and powell on my jeans in marker, and when they got washed it was still faintly there (even grass stains never came out then) so i'd just colour it back in again.
i also used to be able to backside air out of angel lights. thoses were indeed the days. please, as you were.

It were rubbish when i started skating in my town. The only other TWO skateboarders had almost given up or not done it in ages but got a burst of life when i bought a board. We used to catch the train down to Shrewsbury every Saturday morning to skate Monkmoor skatepark. My social life went right down the pan for about two years but i had the raddest time.

Of course skateboarding is gay. We hang out with boys, look at pictures and videos of boys, take pictures and videos of boys. Oooh, those shoes were soo nice, that trick was so stylish, high five. GAY.
When i was wee there were no skaters at my school and about 3 part timers in my home town, all heaps older than me. I remember going down to newcastle for a comp driven by my folks and we stopped and asked directions to the skateshop from someone wearing skateshoes because you pretty much knew they skated. Couldnt do that now. It was rad tho, i don;t think folk starting now get how exciting it was to get proper skate stuff and see other skaters because its so common and easy to see and find now.

For a nondescript little town with hardly anything to skate, where i live has always had a fairly strong skate scene. When i first started there was a group of about 10 people that would meet up and skate, and my brother and i would always tag along like the little grom kids we were, trying to ollie up curbs and having manual contests. The other kids were mostly dicks, but by the time the majority of them quit skating there was already a fresh group of skaters coming in to replace them.
What's wierd about it is that the group of people i skate with now are the "cool" ones who get followed around by the little grom kids, except now there seems to be more of them than ever. It's cool how things have come full circle. [/pointless post]

I found a sort of diary the other day at my parents' place, on a page I'd written : "I can now drop in on all the ramps except one at the skatepark". Also a bunch of anecdotes about the park, was funny reading it again!
