OK all you closet freestylers come out.

I had a Skull skates freestyle board and I've just bought a Powell Kevin Harris mountie reissue board to hang up in the hallway.

I read an interview once.. Can't remember who said it but the quote that sticks in my head is:

"whoever thought freestyle would have the last laugh?"

In reference to street skating now compared to the 80's and the sigma of freestyle..

I don't think freestyle had the last laugh, sateboarding just incorporated the most tech and aesthetically pleasant elements and left the pogo's and handstands to the gymnasts - and Supergran.
eg. Rodney vs Daewon, who's a skater and who's a mathematician / gymnast?
Sound of can of worms opening.
